India Turns Gold
The makers of Gold are all set to celebrate Free India’s first gold medal victory from 1948 with huge grandeur!
Probably for the first time in 70 years, on this historic day of 12th August, India as an independent nation bagged its first Olympic Gold on British soil. This day will be celebrated with much fanfair and pride!
Iconic venues across India will be turning into Gold, uniting the nation in honor of this landmark event.
Venues like Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus & the Bandra- Worli sea link in Mumbai, Magarpatta City in Pune, Sabarmati river front in Ahmedabad, the VIP road in Bhopal, JK Temple in Kanpur and a few other landmark venues will be shining in Gold 7pm onwards on 12th of August 2018.
Our nation in parts will literally be glittering in Gold. A gesture of respect and pride to commemorate and celebrate this momentous day and the Indian hockey team that created history!
