  • Painting & Photography  competitions
  • Excursions to lakes, parks & game sanctuaries in Pune Distt
  • Tree plantation drives
  • Talks/ Presentations by eminent Environmentalists &Horticulturists

Aim

The purpose of setting up this Club is to bring together nature lovers to share their knowledge & expertise on the abundant flora & fauna in Magarpatta City.

Membership

Open to all age groups, it is a golden opportunity for residents to share their knowledge, experience & expertise about the existing flora & fauna in Magarpatta City. It is proposed to post reports of the activities of the Club on the Magarpatta Website to initiate discussions  on topics like ‘Birds in my Backyard’, ‘Trees & Shrubs in my Neighbourhood’ etc. Those interested in photography/painting can share photographs of trees, shrubs, flowers, birds, bees, butterflies etc with a brief write up of their observations. Others can contribute by commenting and sharing their knowledge /expertise about the flora & fauna.

Frequency

Initially the focus will be on ‘Nature Walks’ in Aditi Gardens & the various Neighbourhoods on alternate Sundays, starting with the first walk on 10th 2014 at 7AM in Aditi Gardens. (Water body area)
